“ One of my favorite meals in Kuala Lumpur. I came after the lunch rush but still so a lot people. This Chili Pan Mee is so good, that even after one bowl I was full I wanted another one. Locals will stay this is over price but it's under $3 dollars and comes with soup. Chili Pan Mee is a Malaysian Chinese dry noodle dish, comes with pork, anchovies and runny egg. They have homemade chili on the side. You can add how many you like. Beware, it is spicy if you put too much. The texture of the noodles was good and the flavors are explosive. I can't wait to come back. The restaurant is big and can accommodate a lot but the wait can be long because it is popular. One down side is it takes the noodles a while to arrive at your table even after ordering quickly. ”

Uncle in the shop very kind to find me a chair and recommended what to eat. The chili oil is delicious but fiery- take little at a time. The workers are very courteous. ”

“ The restaurant doesn't look like much but the bowl of dried chilli pan mee is delicious to me. What makes the difference is their chilli - I don't know every single ingredient in there but its definitely a mix of dried chillies and dried prawns - fried to perfection with some spices, fried till absolutely tasty and fragrant! Add them into your pan mee, as much as you wish (and can handle). If you can't take the heat, go for the soup version BUT you're really missing out on the wonderful flavours from the mix of minced meat, chillies, fried anchovies and that creamy, runny egg yolk. If you're looking for ambience, this isn't the place for you - just come for the taste. ”

It was love at first bite for me when the flavor just plowed through like a wrecking ball! I'm not exaggerating. “ This restaurant is located in a really random place and the place is really small and shabby. But, I came here for the chili pan mee, and it was delicious. The bowl of noodles was quite small, and in it were noodles, meat sauce, and an egg. Soup came on the side, and there was chili on each table for additional spice and flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed the noodles, and I highly recommend it! This could also serve as a snack as the portions are quite small (or get two bowls). ”
“ A great example of a place that does its one menu item perfectly. It doesn't need to add variety. If you want chili pan mee, you come here, and if you don't, you go elsewhere! Simple as that. The dish itself is simple as well - noodles with anchovy pieces fried like bacon (at first I thought it was bacon), minced pork, and a soft boiled egg waiting to be cracked and its yolk used as a broth of sorts. The accompanying bowl of soft dark green leaves in a mild broth keeps you from burning yourself on the excessive table chili you're guaranteed to put in after you taste how good it is. It's so good that people apparently try to buy it straight, because the owner has written on the tile wall in Sharpie that he doesn't sell it separately! ”
“ Came here for bfast. I've never had pan mee before so don't have a benchmark, but I can say that the pan mee here is so good. Great combination of strong flavors. The chilli was extremely delicious too. It's a hole in the wall type of place, and seemed to be full of locals. It's a complete steal at only 8rng (approx 2usd). I will try return. ”
